The first ever race of the Downhillsoutheast series may never be topped. That's how successful this event was. But we know it will. There were almost 150 riders and still the event ran smoothly. Shuttles ran groups to the top almost as fast as they came down. The weather was sunny and cool, just enough so wearing pads and helmets kept you warm.

Did I forget to mention, Oscar Blues Brewery donated 12 cases of delicious beers to the riders on Saturday?

TTC Gravity Park is a stellar venue for the race. The trails were in perfect, tacky conditions and laid out for fast, steep, rowdy fun. A long jump contest and a speed trap were included on the worthy course. Top speed a blazing 34 mph.

Prizes were plentiful and of high quality. A knowledge of World Cup racing helped out for the trivia contest prizes while the crowd waited for awards. Thanks Will Washam for providing the voice for the race. The food provided was delicious mexican from La Azteca. Thanks to everyone who put on this phenomenal event!!
